Getting Started
Select New Song, enter the artist and title, and open the Song Sheet editor. Add lyrics first, then align the right- and left-hand cifra-notes with each lyric block.
- Create a new song.
- Enter the artist and song title.
- Choose Edit on the Song Sheet.
- Add lyrics and the matching RH/LH notation.
- Save the song.
Song Sheet Layout
Each block keeps three related rows together: green RH notes, amber LH notes, and the lyric phrase below them. Comments and extra spacing can identify an intro, verse, chorus, bridge, or ending.
Entering Cifra-Notes
Type notes with the computer keyboard, or place the cursor in an RH/LH row and use the digital piano to insert the matching note automatically.
- Use commas to separate lyric and note phrases.
- Use brackets for notes that play together.
- Use repeat values and pauses to shape playback.
- Use comments for guidance that should not play.
Playback and Practice
Play one row to test a phrase or use the main playback control for the full song. During playback, the piano area highlights the notes being played so you can study each hand combination.
Audio Recording
Open the Audio Recording panel, select the Windows input device, and record a practice take. Saved recordings can be selected, played, paused, renamed, or deleted from the recording list.
Saving, Import, and Export
Save songs to the app library, import supported text-based CifraNote sheets, and export or print a PDF when you need a shareable song sheet. PDF output preserves the RH, LH, and lyric layout.
